Comprehensive Care at its Best
Cleft lip or palate surgery is highly individualized. Dr. Karoon determines the most appropriate surgical options for your child, and will provide you information on pre-operative preparation and post-operative care required for recovery, function and growth.
Dental And Orthodontics
Missing, small, extra, and crooked teeth are common in cleft patients even after surgery to repair their cleft. Quality dental care is provided for full rehabilitation of cleft patients.
Children born with clefts often have difficulties feeding because of their inability to create a closure to suckle. Mothers and caregivers are trained by a dedicated nutritionist to feed and support the growth of their baby.
Even after surgery, many children with clefts will need speech therapy to address language delay, articulation problems and hypernasality. An inhouse team of highly specialized speech therapist will provide strategies for adaptive techniques and useful tools as your child masters speech with the continuous changes they will undergo the first few years of life.
Children born with clefts may have visible scars and/or differences in speech that can lead them to feeling different and, in some cases, experience self-esteem issues. Essential counseling and support is provided to children and their families throughout their development.

Frequently asked questions before consultation
Patient care starts with a thorough consultation. During this initial meeting, Dr. Karoon Agrawal examines your keloids, reviews the history of your disorder, your prior treatments, and the results of these treatments. He also takes time to answer all of your questions. Afterward, he provides you with his recommended treatment plan. The duration of the consultation is usually 20 minutes. However, in complex cases, it may last much longer.
Most keloids require several treatments. Because the keloids need time to heal in between procedures, the treatment period can span between twelve months to twenty four months or more. Dr. Karoon Agrawal will provide you with an estimated time for the course of treatment that will be required for your type of keloid.
If time permits, Dr. Karoon Agrawal will provide treatment at the end of your consultation. In particular, he takes into consideration patients who must travel long distances and tries to minimize the number of trips required for treatment.
Unlike many practices where patients are treated by dermatologists or non-physicians, Dr. Karoon Agrawal personally conducts all of the consultations and provides all of the treatments for his patients. He is passionate about providing hands-on care for each individual and following the progress of each procedure. He takes pride in providing his patients with the best possible care for the treatment of their ailments.
The initial consultation fee is Rs. 1,200. Treatment charges are separate and vary from patient to patient.
